Oliver of Chorlton-cum-Hardy

Congratulations go to Oliver from Chorlton-cum-Hardy on passing his driving test on Friday March 9th 2012. Oliver passed his driving test at the West Didsbury test centre. Oliver joined Mitchell's back in 2011 and was a pupil of Sean Green, when Oliver moved to Chorlton he was out of Sean's catchment area but was able to stay with his trusted driving school Mitchell's by transferring to instructor Neil Blore who covers the Chorlton area. Oliver would be the first to admit that consistency was always his major issue and having previously failed Oliver worked hard with Neil to improve this specific area. Despite feeling very nervous on the day Oliver achieved a driving test pass with just 5 minor driving faults. Well done Oliver. Phil of Hazel Grove Stockport

Congratulations to Phil of Hazel Grove Stockport on passing his driving test at Bredbury test centre. This was Phil's second attempt at taking his driving test and only had 3 minor faults. Phil's driving instructor Neil Blore from Mitchell's said Phil is an excellent driver despite a few butterflies he kept his nerve. I hope to see Phil for his Pass Plus course and I hope he enjoys the Skid Pan challenge prize that he won from Mitchell's earlier this year. Good luck Phil, I will miss our soapbox sessions, who will put the world to rights with me now?! For driving lessons in Stockport take a look at http://www.driving-lessonsstockport.co.uk/

Tash from Davenport Stockport

Congratulations to Tash who passed her driving test first time with only 4 faults. Tash took her driving test in Bredbury Stockport on the 27th February 2012.

Julian was known to the family and had taught Tash's brother to drive a couple of years ago. Tash like a lot of first time drivers was a bit nervous but Julian her driving instructor at Mitchell's was very patient and let Tash progress at her own pace. Tash was over the moon to pass first time and said she would recommend Julian and Mitchell's to anyone who wanted to take driving lessons. Nicola from Denton Tameside

Congratulations go to Nicola from Denton in Tameside on passing her driving test 1st time with 5 minor faults. Nicola took a 20 hour Crash Course with her driving instructor Andy Hill from Mitchell's and took her driving lessons over the course of a week. She was very nervous about learning to drive and was constantly worried about what other motorists were doing around her. With Andy's experience and patience he dealt with Nicolas nerves by making Nicola feel calm and relaxed which she found to be very helpful.

Ricky from Davenport Stockport

Congratulations to Ricky from Davenport in Stockport on passing his driving test. Ricky took his test in Bredbury Stockport on the 24th of February 2012 with only 3 faults. Ricky took his driving lessons with Julian Pursglove who covers this area for Mitchell's. Ricky had this to say about his driving experience: I had been driving for years but never passed my driving test to get a full licence, ...I wanted to pass my driving test as quickly as possible and Julian was able to fit me in for a few lessons and my driving test at really short notice, even though he was extremely busy. Julian had to correct a few bad habits I had picked up and showed me the correct way to drive in order to pass my driving test. I am so pleased I have passed and can now go and look for a car of my own, thanks to Julian and Mitchell's. Suzanne from Dukinfield Tameside

Suzanne from Dukinfield had lessons in an automatic car as she wasn't confident she could drive a manual car she took her driving lessons with driving instructor Bodie from Mitchell's. Suzanne had only just received her provisional driving licence from the DVLA as previously she suffered quite badly from epileptic fits, but once her medication was amended she was granted her licence. Suzanne really wanted to pass her driving test as this for her would be a major acievement. After approximately 30 driving lessons her driving test was booked unfortunately she was unsuccesful on her first attempt mainly due to her nerves. After a little more tuition her second test was booked and we at Mitchell's would like to congratulate Suzanne on easily passing her driving test on this occasion. Anna from Tameside

Anna passed her driving test with only a few minor faults. I first started my driving lessons when turning 17 as a birthday presents from my parents, 18 months later I finally passed my test. It took me so long due to nerves, mark was a fantastic instructor to have during this time, he constantly reassured me and made sure I was completely confident with everything before I started a new area of driving. As it came closer to my test date mark did a numerous amount of things with me to make sure I wasn't too nervous he did mock tests with me, which I found brilliant, as they gave me an insight to what the test would be like. He also made sure I was confident with the manoeuvres and the one I was unsure on we went over with good tips and hints for the test. The day of my test he made me more calm then what I thought I'd be, making me laugh and reassuring me that I am ready and I could do it. I'd like to thank mark so much, he has been a fantastic instructor and would recommend him and his company to anyone. http://www.mitchellsom.co.uk/
