Nicola from Denton Tameside

Congratulations go to Nicola from Denton in Tameside on passing her driving test 1st time with 5 minor faults. Nicola took a 20 hour Crash Course with her driving instructor Andy Hill from Mitchell's and took her driving lessons over the course of a week. She was very nervous about learning to drive and was constantly worried about what other motorists were doing around her. With Andy's experience and patience he dealt with Nicolas nerves by making Nicola feel calm and relaxed which she found to be very helpful.

Ricky from Davenport Stockport

Congratulations to Ricky from Davenport in Stockport on passing his driving test. Ricky took his test in Bredbury Stockport on the 24th of February 2012 with only 3 faults. Ricky took his driving lessons with Julian Pursglove who covers this area for Mitchell's. Ricky had this to say about his driving experience: I had been driving for years but never passed my driving test to get a full licence, ...I wanted to pass my driving test as quickly as possible and Julian was able to fit me in for a few lessons and my driving test at really short notice, even though he was extremely busy. Julian had to correct a few bad habits I had picked up and showed me the correct way to drive in order to pass my driving test. I am so pleased I have passed and can now go and look for a car of my own, thanks to Julian and Mitchell's. Suzanne from Dukinfield Tameside

Suzanne from Dukinfield had lessons in an automatic car as she wasn't confident she could drive a manual car she took her driving lessons with driving instructor Bodie from Mitchell's. Suzanne had only just received her provisional driving licence from the DVLA as previously she suffered quite badly from epileptic fits, but once her medication was amended she was granted her licence. Suzanne really wanted to pass her driving test as this for her would be a major acievement. After approximately 30 driving lessons her driving test was booked unfortunately she was unsuccesful on her first attempt mainly due to her nerves. After a little more tuition her second test was booked and we at Mitchell's would like to congratulate Suzanne on easily passing her driving test on this occasion. Anna from Tameside

Anna passed her driving test with only a few minor faults. I first started my driving lessons when turning 17 as a birthday presents from my parents, 18 months later I finally passed my test. It took me so long due to nerves, mark was a fantastic instructor to have during this time, he constantly reassured me and made sure I was completely confident with everything before I started a new area of driving. As it came closer to my test date mark did a numerous amount of things with me to make sure I wasn't too nervous he did mock tests with me, which I found brilliant, as they gave me an insight to what the test would be like. He also made sure I was confident with the manoeuvres and the one I was unsure on we went over with good tips and hints for the test. The day of my test he made me more calm then what I thought I'd be, making me laugh and reassuring me that I am ready and I could do it. I'd like to thank mark so much, he has been a fantastic instructor and would recommend him and his company to anyone. http://www.mitchellsom.co.uk/

Chris from Stalybridge

Chris from Stalybridge passed with only a few minor faults.. After a long break from driving lessons, I was loaded with plenty of baggage and no small amount of fear when I got back behind the wheel with Mark. After many bumps in the road in my bid to pass my test, Mark´s back-to-basics approach soon had me looking forward to lessons and keen to iron out my mistakes and improve as a motorist. With a steady and consistent approach, and no small amount of patience, Mark´s method paid off. Now that I have passed my test I can´t wait to finally get my own car. There´s no looking back now (at least not without a glance at the blind spot). www.mitchellsom.co.uk

Alison from Tameside

Alison passed her driving test first time with only a few minor faults. I had a goal of passing my test before I was 40 and Mark helped me achieve that. I didn't have a great deal of confidence but it built through Mark's teaching approach which was friendly, informal yet informative with lots of praise (and the occasional telling off, which I needed!). I am so pleased that I have passed. For driving lessons in Tameside take a look at www.mitchellsom.co.uk

Congratulations to Geordan who passed his driving test at Bredbury test centre in Stockport. Geordan has been taking driving lessons with our driving instructor Mr Neil Blore. Geordan is from Didsbury Manchester and has been driving for some years but only with an automatic transmission. He has had to work very hard to lose some of the inevitable bad habits acquired by experienced drivers, whilst getting to grips with gears, clutch and clutch control. He achieved that with just 3 minor driving faults. Well done Geordan! For driving lessons in the Stockport or Manchester area's take a look at www.driving-lessonsstockport.co.uk

Congratulations to Natasa who passed her driving test at Bredbury test centre in Stockport. Natasa of Stockport, passed on her second attempt with just 5 minor driving faults. Natasa took driving lessons with our instructor Mr Neil Blore and was delighted with her result, Natasa said that passing her driving test before the arrival of her baby son was a dream come true. Natasa had suffered with ne...rves early on in her driving course but with her instructor Neil focused on planning and anticipation skills to improve her sense of control over her envoironment. Having been unlucky just before Christmas with her first attempt, she admitted that the second time seemed surprisingly easy although she was planning a well deserved celebratory meal with her husband in her favourite restaurant.
